About Dusky Robin Leather
We design beautiful handcrafted leather accessories that are fun and bold, but seriously reliable.
Our designs are always functional, but never boorish. They are colourful, but never garish.
We share our name, Dusky Robin, with a tiny bird that is endemic to Tasmania- just like us!
Like our range of leather bags and accessories Dusky Robins come in the most classic of colours (grey, black and a smattering of white), but don't shy away of injecting colour by laying the most spectacular green and blue eggs.
As you will see our designs are dusky by name, but not by nature!
From our island home we use over 30 years of experience in leather design and making to design our bags, wallets and clutches, which are made globally by our craftspeople. We work with small scale family businesses in Indonesia and India to produce our leather products. We have worked with the same family for over 30 years. Most of our leather is vegetable tanned and chosen for its quality and longevity.
