Cottonwool is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act as well as other applicable legislation. 

Our privacy policy relates to the personal information we collect about you as our customers, visitors to our websites, apps, social media and members of the public. 

Cottonwool needs to collect certain personal information in order to properly carry out its functions and activities. The types of information that the Company collects will depend on the circumstances of the individual’s involvement or contact with the Company. 

In order to provide services to you, we may ask for personal information such as your name, address, telephone number or email address. The personal information we collect about you depends on the dealings you have with us. Personal Information includes information about an individual who is reasonably identifiable. 

Examples of where we may collect personal information include, but are not limited to, when you make an instore or online purchase, put goods on hold, provide details to join our mailing lists or databases, provide information via social media pages, enter a competition, sign up as part of a loyalty program, send us an enquiry or provide us with feedback. 

Generally, you have no obligation to provide any information requested by the Cottonwool. If you choose to withhold requested information however, we may not be able to provide you with the service you require should that depend on the collection of that information, particularly if the collection of that information is required by law. 

We may share your personal information with third parties where appropriate for the purposes including financial institutions or agents such as PayPal for payment processing 

Cottonwool’s contracted service providers or partners include overseas and local agents, delivery and shipping providers, information technology service providers, marketing and communications agencies, research and statistical analysis providers, hard copy and electronic mail houses, suppliers, and external business advisers (eg auditors and lawyers). 

Cottonwool operates from New South Wales and any disputes will be subject to the laws and jurisdiction of the Courts of NSW.

BY USING THE WEBSITE YOU ARE ACCEPTING AND AGREEING TO THESE TERMS. 

GENERAL 

All orders submitted through the Website are subject to acceptance by Cottonwool. 

Once you submit your order, you will receive an email to confirm receipt of your order. This email confirmation does not constitute an acceptance of the order or an offer to sell products. Cottonwool reserves the right to refuse an order for any reason. Cottonwool reserves the right to correct inadvertent errors, omissions or inaccuracies in relation to price, product availability, or product descriptions. Acceptance of all orders is subject to Cottonwool confirming availability and price for products ordered. If your order is rejected for any reason you will be given a full refund for any amount paid for the order. 

Cottonwool does not warrant or guarantee: 

• the accuracy or completeness of any information available on the Website; 

• that access to the Website will be uninterrupted or error free; 

• that any defects will be corrected immediately; or 

• that the Website will be free from viruses or other contamination. 

Except where prohibited by law, Cottonwool will not be liable to you for any loss, damage, liabilities or claims and expenses that you may suffer due to use of the Website, including use of any information on it. You use the internet and the Website at your own risk. 

When using websites, the internet or third-party networks or facilities, you are using networks, facilities and services that are beyond the control of Cottonwool. You assume all risk and liability of your use of the Website, the internet, or any such third-party networks, including access to the Website via such media. Cottonwool recommends users review each website’s privacy statement before disclosing any personally identifiable information. 

SHIPPING 

CottonWool offer FREE postage on orders over $100 (with code FREE100) or free pickup instore. Shipping is charged at a flat rate of $10 on all orders and will be added to the bill at checkout unless the code is used. Cottonwool uses Australia Post, tracking numbers will be provided via email once your order has been completed. All orders are processed within 2 working days of the order being placed. You will receive an email once goods have been dispatched. Delivery takes 2-7 days business days. During holiday period some items may take longer. GENERAL RETURNS POLICY 

At Cottonwool we would like our customers to feel confident in ordering with us online. Our returns policy is in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. 

• Should you feel the item you ordered is not right for you, we are happy to exchange, provide a credit note or a full refund. 

• For a full refund, you need to contact us and return the item to us within 7 days of receiving it. This applies to full priced items only. There are no refunds on sale items. 

• For an exchange or credit note (on a sale item) you need to contact us and return the item to us within 7 days of receiving it. 

• Any returned item must be in perfect condition, with no damage to the item. All swing tags MUST still be attached. 

• Any refund amount will be less the initial shipping charge. 

• We recommend you use registered post when returning an item as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit to us. 

• Shipping charges will be waived only if the returned item is faulty. 

• Any credit notes issued will be valid for a period of 12 months. 

• Refunds or credit notes are only processed once the original item has been returned to us. 

FAULTY ITEMS 

We aim to provide our customers with products of the highest standard and quality and a thorough check of your garment is undertaken before it is sent off. If you have received an item that you believe has a manufacturing fault, please contact us right away. Email us with a photo showing us the defect to speed up the returns process. 

In accordance with the Australian Consumer Law, if the garment we have sent has a minor fault we have the right to repair the fault to the product and send it back to you. If we believe the fault cannot be repaired then we will send you a replacement product the same as your original purchase. If we are unable to repair or replace your faulty item then we will reimburse you in full for your purchase.
